Patients and Pirates
Here we have Delilah the basset hound, with one of my esteemed colleagues.
Today was Talk Like a Pirate Day, so I swaggered into work and greeted the receptionist with "Avast, me hearties". She thought I said "I've lost my car keys" and our conversation rolled away in two different directions. Hilarity ensued until we untangled ourselves.

The second dog hubby and I adopted when we were newlyweds was a very green eyed Basset. What a lover! They are very sweet and loyal pets.
That really does look like a sweet dog, and funnily enough -- she looks just like the guy holding her! They are destined to become best friends, methinks!
