Signpost for hikers on the South Downs, southern England.
As I took the signpost photo, I had to brace myself against the wind. The fog and mist turned into needles of horizontal rain,and I congratulated myself on braving the elements in the deserted wilderness. Then a car pulled up, a cheerful couple got out, unstrapped their mountain bikes, and rolled off into the weather.

I know that you must have had a really great time! The pictures make me long for another trip to France. I went in '01 and have been trying to get back there ever since.
Looks like a fabulous trip!
